Harold Ford Sr. is an American politician and former U.S. Representative from Tennessee. He served in Congress from 1975 to 1997, representing the 8th district of Tennessee. Ford was a member of the Democratic party and was known for his moderate and bipartisan approach to governance.
During his time in Congress, Ford was a strong advocate for civil rights, economic development, and job creation in Tennessee.
